Bring Your Own Grocery Bag Reusable shopping bags are one of the easiest ways to be Earth-friendly. The EPA estimates that Americans use 380 billion plastic bags per year. Do your part to conserve by bringing your own bag when you shop for your Thanksgiving dinner.

Avoid Disposable Dishes and Silverware Americans throw away 25% more waste between Thanksgiving and New Years than we do in any other time of the year. Paper plates and disposable utensils can account for a large portion of that waste. Do your part to minimize your holiday waste: choose reusable dishes and utensils.

Buy Organic Flowers Are you planning to add flowers to your holiday festivities? Consider buying organic flowers. Whenever you touch or inhale the scent of non-organic flowers, you could be ingesting pesticides and chemicals. With organic flowers you can add beauty to your holiday table without adding chemicals and pesticides to your home.
